Guests have been arriving from all over the country to enjoy the ambience of this one of a kind vacation home. This beautiful home is also a perfect place for honeymoon, anniversary, and romantic getaways. The inviting interior has been recently refreshed and sleeps six with ease. With two roomy bedrooms, the master bedroom offers a new queen sized bed, and the second charming bedroom contains two single beds. Towels and plenty of linens and blankets are all provided for your comfort. A queen sized sleeper sofa is located in the living room.

This home's spacious rooms offer plenty of room for your enjoyment. Besides a full sized bathroom, there is an additional half bath. With air conditioning, heat, and the warmth of the fireplaces, this home is available for memorable year round vacation rentals. The huge living room with its stunning river views offers several relaxing sitting areas, with a gas fireplace at each end. Step down into the sun porch overlooking the river, and into the bubbly whirlpool tub!

One dining table seats four, as does the breakfast bar, and a low round table with cushioned rattan rocking chairs. The fully equipped kitchen includes a range, newer refrigerator, newer dishwasher, and a microwave oven. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils, small appliances, pots and  pans for baking.

For play time inside, enjoy the 27" color cable television in the living room, along with a combination DVD & VCR player, and portable stereo. The views of the river from the large windows and sliding glass door are so soothing. The master bedroom contains another new 13" color cable television with DVD player, and the second bedroom also contains a 13" color cable television. Kids can bring their game systems and easily hook in to the front A/V ports. In the living room, you will find an assortment of toys and games for the kids too.

The two car garage will securely store all of your toys. For grilling, a large stone barbeque is waiting for you out in the wide back yard with its scenic river views. There is also a gas grill, and an octagonal picnic table. A small firepit is perfect for toasting marshmallows and making s'mores. The two car garage will securely store all of your toys. Bring your boat or personal watercraft! Boat on either the AuSable River, or on Lake Huron. Some of the best fishing in the state is to be had right here in your own back yard, including bass and salmon. The large yard is ideal for lots of fun and games. Swim in the AuSable during your summer Oscoda vacation getaway, or enjoy the Lake Huron beach that is less than a mile away.

Have a great time floating in a tube or canoeing down the river.  You can just walk down the street to rent a canoe or some tubes for some great family fun. The best part is that you can end up right back at your own special vacation home. Sit back, relax, and watch the boats go by. The Oscoda Yacht Club is just across the river. Here you are just minutes from Oscoda's sugar sand beaches, not to mention year round fun including ice fishing, charter boat fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hunting or ATV riding.

The large AuSable Childrens Park is very close by as well (almost across the street). Your Oscoda vacation getaway home address is 615 Harbor Street. From the Detroit area, just take I-75 to the US-23 exit for Standish, AuGres, Tawas, & Oscoda (exit 188). From Standish, stay on US-23 for 55 miles until you arrive in Oscoda. You will go over a small bridge where the AuSable River joins Lake Huron. Then look for the AuSable Inn on your left. Turn left onto E Mill Street and take an immediate left onto Harbor Street. Look for 615 Harbor Street just before you reach the AuSable Children's Park.
