The Captain's Watch is the third of our four one of a kind vacation homes at The Beach Club of Oscoda. What a lovely new place to spend a relaxing getaway weekend, or an entire fun filled week!   This unique two story cottage features a large bright bedroom upstairs with two windows overlooking Lake Huron, and a telescope to view birds, boats, and freighters.  This is another fabulous vacation spot for our couples seeking some special time away.

In the spacious second story loft is a queen sized bed, 25" cable television, a DVD player, VCR, and a great electric fireplace that has been greatly enjoyed as it provides both warmth and a soft ambiance.

Downstairs, is a cozy living room. The futon has a very thick mattress which makes a full sized bed at night. The sliding glass door opens onto a private patio. There is also a cable television with a DVD player downstairs.

From the kitchen to the appliances and furnishings, everything inside is newer.  There is a full sized refrigerator, electric stove with a flat cooking surface,  over the range microwave oven, along with a toaster, coffee maker, and all of the pots, pans, dishes, cookware, and utensils a couple or family of four will need. The bathroom features a roomy shower.

Outdoors, the beach is open so that you can walk for miles, enjoying the soothing sound of the waves.
 
All four homes at The Beach Club are smoke free.  For everyone's consideration, only The Garden Cottage is dog friendly.  Please keep your dog on a leash outside at all times.

The address of The Beach Club of Oscoda is 7536 North US-23  Oscoda, MI. 48750. From the Detroit area, just take I-75 to the US-23 exit for Standish, AuGres, Tawas, & Oscoda (exit 188). From Standish, stay on US-23 for 55 miles until you arrive in Oscoda. Drive through the quaint town of Oscoda, staying on US-23 and continue heading north. The Beach Club will be on your right approximately four miles north of Oscoda, MI.

The Beach Club is a family friendly resort. We want our guests to feel very comfortable and secure. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. Please be respectful of the other guests at all times. No fireworks, no house parties, and no colorful language please. Guests must be a minimum of 24 years of age, or be accompanied by parents.
